JQuery 1.5(.1) now released

29th March 2011 • No Comments

So because I’ve been too busy with developing and trying to keep up with everything else in life I really have not been able to update my blog for a while. So if you have been silly enough to check frequently then you’ve been bored and for that I’m sorry. But… Good news is jQuery 1.5 has been released then before I’ve even decided to write about it 1.5.1 has also been released.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it has been so much more stable than 1.4.x – I pretty much bypassed that whole release as it was full of bugs and was a step backwards for jQuery in my opinion. 1.5.x has proven to redeem itself and proven to be faster and more stable then the previous 1.4.x release. Fingers crossed it stays that way and I don’t run into any major compatibility issues. 1.4.x was particularly unstable IE7.
